INTRODUCTION Pyrometallurgical operations are essentially concerned with the high-temperature processing of materials. ![]() ![]() The level of major impurities in the produced magnesium crown is similar to those in the crude metal production. Pyrosim provides a convenient framework for the calculation of material and energy balances, as well as a simple basis for cost comparisons between process options.
